So, with the naive optimism of someone who has clearly never owned a truly chaotic animal, we signed the papers and welcomed “Lucky” (oh, the irony) into our lives.
Initially, Lucky was a dream. Sweet, a little shy, and surprisingly well-behaved. We envisioned idyllic walks in the park, cozy evenings by the fireplace, perhaps even teaching him a few cute tricks to impress the neighbors.
